Convert pretty much any Windows font into a SqueezeboxG font with TtfToSbg 1.0.  Have fun!
It's a simple little program that should run on any win9x/2k/xp system.

Here are some alternative fonts for Slim Devices' sweet SqueezeboxG.
Some I cooked up by hand, the rest were done with my convertor.
Installation notes are down below.

comicms looks nicer on the hardware than in the screen capture.
kirsten playful.  numbers and lowercase are a bit small.
tahoma tahoma-mixcaps tahomahuge tahoma is my fave.  i use these quite often.  the spacing on these is a little tight, you might want to try creating your own versions with the convertor (these were made with spacing set to 2).
thickhuge-mixcaps thickhuge-caps notched-caps these latest additions are (imo) among the best for readability. a newly edited version of "notched" was posted on 15 dec -- readable and a little snazzy, even.
thinhuge thinhuge-mixcaps thinghuge-caps reworkings of the stock huge font.  a little less bold, a little more spacing.  i use the caps and mixcaps versions when i'm too far away for tahoma.  also nice for clock-mode.
xtrathinhuge xtrathinhuge-mixcaps xtrathinhuge-caps how much thinner could this get?  the answer is none.  none thinner. nice for up-close use, not recommended for across the room, though.

Installation (sample commands are linux-style, adjust for mac/win):

1.  make sure you're running slimserver 5.3 or later
2.  copy the downloaded bmp files to your slimserver/Graphics folder
    > cp tahomalarge.2.font.bmp /usr/local/slimserver/Graphics/
3. when done copying, (re)start your slimserver
    > /etc/init.d/slimserver  restart
4. open the slim web interface, go to Player Settings -> Display
    (choose the desired sbg/softsqueeze player first, if applicable)
5. set Fonts and/or Standby Fonts to your liking, click Change
